With our many successes, we have
also suffered two terrible losses over the past few years. The first
was the passing of Steve's grandfather, mentor, and renowned aviation
artist, R.G. Smith. R.G's artwork not only inspired Steve to become
an artist, but was nationally acclaimed due to his "gifts of
mind, eye, and hand". >Read

Our second loss occurred in April of 2002 with the passing of our
good friend and colleague, Cmdr. Michael Norman who died in an air
show accident. "Storm", as he was known to his friends,
was a great father, husband, friend, son, and aviator whose loss
will be felt for years to come. Steve is planning a painting as
a tribute to Mike's career in aviation with all proceeds to be donated
to a memorial fund in his name. >Get
